A poem that a friend sent that I wanted to share...
'Live with intention.
Walk to the edge.
Listen hard.
Practice wellness.
Laugh.
Choose with no regret.
Continue to learn.
Appreciate your friends.
Do what you love.
Live as if this is all there is.'

So, as I wrote this, Andrew emptied a carton of strawberry Nesquik into his oatmeal, and also did finger painting with it across table. Sometimes kids show us how to live the poetry that inspires us but has not yet moved us to action.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't a day that I don't think of you and wish you well. I pray for your journey though it may be hard. I am grateful at this time of thanksgiving for my knowing you. And every time I pick up my cowl to knit, I think of you knitting away in Maine.
